MCore Scam Privacy Policy

MCore Creative respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the MCore Scam Android application handles information.
1. About MCore Scam
MCore Scam helps users review suspicious messages, links, phone numbers, email addresses and screenshots for possible scam or phishing warning signs.
The app provides a risk assessment and safety guidance. It does not guarantee that content is safe or fraudulent.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The current version stores most information locally on your device, including:
- selected language;
- remaining free trial scans;
- scan history;
- scam-library favourites;
- security checklist progress;
- emergency-plan progress;
- incident notes;
- Premium test status;
- privacy and app settings.
This information is not automatically sent to MCore Creative.
3. Content Entered for a Scan
You may enter suspicious messages, website links, phone numbers, email addresses or incident notes.
The current version processes this content locally in the app for scam-risk analysis. MCore Creative does not currently operate a server that receives or stores this scan content.
4. Screenshot Analysis and OCR
MCore Scam may allow you to select a screenshot for text recognition. The screenshot is used to detect visible text so it can be analysed for possible scam warning signs.
Selected screenshots are not automatically uploaded to MCore Creative.
5. Incident Reports
Emergency mode allows you to create a local incident report containing completed safety steps, date, time and notes.
Reports are not automatically sent. You decide whether to copy, download or share them.
6. Accounts
The current version does not require an MCore account.
7. Premium Features and Payments
Planned subscription prices are:
- €5.99 per month;
- €49.99 per year.
When real purchases are enabled, payments will be processed through Google Play Billing. MCore Creative will not receive your full payment-card details.
8. Free Trial Scans
The app may provide three free scans after installation. The number of used or remaining scans may be stored locally.
9. External Links
MCore Scam may open official external websites such as Google Play Protect, Google Account Security Checkup or WhatsApp help pages.
10. Advertising
The current version does not display third-party advertising.
11. Analytics and Crash Reporting
The current version does not intentionally send scan content to an analytics service.
12. Data Sharing
MCore Creative does not sell personal information and does not intentionally share scan content, incident notes or local history with advertisers or data brokers.
13. Data Retention
Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app storage or uninstall the app.
14. Deleting Your Data
You can remove local information through the app or through:
Android Settings → Apps → MCore Scam → Storage → Clear data
15. Security
MCore Creative takes reasonable steps to design MCore Scam with privacy and security in mind. No application or security method can guarantee complete protection.
16. Children’s Privacy
MCore Scam is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
17. International Users
The app may support Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish and Croatian.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when features change, such as the introduction of accounts, Firebase, analytics, advertising or Google Play Billing.
